5/4~ Dear Mustang
Elementary,
I fear to say that our principals have ascended to the roof.
They are honoring their part in the Scholastic Book Fair Challenge. I feel
that pandemonium could breakout at any moment. These children are
excited to have a day without principals. Teachers are looking relaxed for
the time being, probably because of our wonderful teacher appreciation week.
However, I feel that that could change at any moment.

4th Grade
Spelling Bee!
The 4th grade spelling bee was April 27th and one of our own got stung!
Savannah Basco placed third in the Mustang PS spelling bee.
Congratulations!!

UP ON THE ROOOOOOOOOF!
We have great news! Mrs. Semmler and Mrs. Floyd
challenged Mustang Elementary during our spring book fair. The bet? If you
can raise $7000 dollars Mrs. Semmler said she would make the climb to spend
a day on our roof. Mrs. Floyd sweetened the bet for our children, she
offered to join Mrs. Semmler on the roof if the children could raise $8000.
Well guess what? Our school DID IT! Mrs. Semmler and Mrs. Floyd will soon
have a lovely day on the roof enjoying each others company!

In order to make up the remaining days, our schedule will be as follows:
School will begin at 7:50 am for all students.
Morning Kindergarten will be released at 10:40 a.m.*
Afternoon Kindergarten will begin at 12:25 p.m.* (doors open at 12:15 p.m.)
End of the day bell will ring at 3:02 p.m.
